Nauto® is the only real-time, AI-enabled driver and fleet safety platform to predict, prevent, and reduce high-risk events in the mobility ecosystem. By analyzing billions of data points from over 6 billion AI-analyzed video miles, Nauto’s machine learning algorithms continuously improve and impact driver behavior before events happen, not after. Nauto has enabled the largest commercial fleets in the world to avoid more than 70,000 collisions, resulting in nearly $300 million in savings.

Nauto AI fleet management software is being deployed by commercial fleets around the world to reduce distracted driving and prevent collisions before they occur. Our AI-enabled device combines dual-facing dash cameras, deep learning, and proprietary algorithms. Nauto assesses and understands how drivers interact with the vehicle and the road ahead to detect and provide real-time driver coaching.

Protect drivers and their privacy
Nauto only surfaces the safety insights that matter most to protect the privacy of commercial drivers. By deploying AI on the edge, we’re able to detect distracted driving and immediately coach drivers with in-cab notifications. Only a fraction of driving time — such as distractions or other high-risk events — is uploaded to the cloud, where it’s synthesized into actionable insights to enable fleet management and safety leaders to identify and coach high-risk drivers.

Our Leadership Team
Dr. Stefan Heck is CEO and Founder of Nauto. Prior to Nauto, Dr. Heck was a Consulting Professor at the Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford University. Previously he was a Senior Partner at McKinsey and co-founded and led the Cleantech and Sustainability practice. Dr. Heck earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from UCSD and a B.S. with honors in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
Yoav is the President of Nauto and leads sales, business development, product and marketing functions. Prior to Nauto, he was Co-Founder and CEO of Solergy, a solar energy technology innovator and manufacturer. Yoav has also served as Strategic Advisor to venture-backed, enterprise AI startups which raised follow-on rounds or were acquired. Previously he held product leadership positions at Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP). Yoav holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Materials Science from Stanford University.
Vijay leads a diverse team of technologists responsible for building and operating Nauto's innovative product and platform. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology innovation and global-scale product delivery, spanning enterprise software, SaaS/Cloud, Big Data, and AI/ML-based analytics. Prior to Nauto, he held senior engineering leadership roles at large enterprises (HPE and Oracle), mid-size organizations (CallidusCloud), and late-stage startups (People Admin and Guavus). Vijay holds a Master's in Computer Applications from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India.
Linda oversees Nauto's global people strategy and is focused on attracting and retaining Nauto's top talent. She leads all people functions including people operations, total rewards, talent management, talent acquisition, DE&I, and communications. Linda is passionate about driving business success through the lens of people and creating a culture of belonging. She has a proven track record as an accomplished human resources executive and prior to Nauto, held a senior leadership role at Omnicell, Inc., a leading healthcare SaaS and has served as vice president, human resources in tech, renewables, and construction.
Andrew leads Finance and Accounting for Nauto. He brings over 20 years of experience driving profitability while supporting the launch and growth of new products, channels and businesses. Prior to Nauto he held senior finance roles in Consumer Packaged Goods (Time Life), Live Entertainment (Starvista Live) and Internet Services (AOL). Andrew holds a BS in Finance from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
